Tunes in the Dunes 2015. Perranporth Beach, Cornwall StatusQuo, Scouting For Girls, Tom Odell Reel Big Fish, Donavon Frankenreiter, Dub Pistols. For the first time ever Perranporth beach is hosting the Tunes in the Dunes festival on the May Bank Holiday this year. Set to be one of the biggest festivals on the summer calendar with International rock acts Status Quo headlining on the Saturday night, this all ages beach party is the most exciting new addition to Cornwall’s music scene.
Returning to the site where they first wrote ‘Caroline’, Status Quo are ready to bring in the sunset over the stunning Perranporth beach on May the 23rd. Their distinctive boogie rock sound is sure to get punters dancing in the sand as they reel off their classic hits such as ‘Down Down’, ‘Whatever you want’ and of course the home grown ‘Caroline’, written in Perranporth itself, over 20 years ago. Over the three days, Tunes in the Dunes is also hosting the British Longboard Champs and with key beer sponsor Korev Lager and cider sponsor Rattler, attendees will be able to sit back and relax with a drink, great music and surf during the day. For ticket prices of £85 for the whole weekend and day tickets starting at £30 available it is a not to be missed May Bank Holiday party for the whole family!
