Newquay Fish Festival
This event showcases one of Newquays hidden gems 'the harbour' and has proven an extremely popular event with both residents and visitors. The demonstrations by local chefs are undoubtedly the highlight of the festival. You'll also find food tasting, talks and boat trips. Fantastic fun for all the family.

16 September 2010 | Polo

Polo on the Beach
One of the most glamorous events in the Newquay calendar - sunbleached surfers rubbing shoulders with the thoroughbred polo set in a late summer's evening of saltwater adrenaline. Over 20 polo ponies will be on the beach to play in an exhibition match, which is completely free for spectators.

18 - 19 September 2010 | Surfing

British National Surf Championships
Another BSA organised event in the exciting 2010 calendar for Fistral Beach. Around 150 of the best British surfers are expected to battle it out in the women's, men's and seniors' competitions.

24 - 25 September 2010 | Zapcat Racing

Zapcat King of the Surf Grand Prix
Check out the only leg of the Zapcat circuit that takes place on a surfing beach and witness these super-powered, twin-hulled catamarans leap and twist out of the water. A great family spectacle!
