Surf Lessons

Learn to surf with former European and British surf champion Ben Baird. The purpose of these surf lessons is not only to teach you the skills of surfing in Newquay, but also teach you about the waves, the ocean, the rips & currents - and how to enjoy this exhilarating sport. Coasteering

Coasteering is a relatively new adventure activity that involves low level traversing of coastal terrain, or as the Mad Ferret would put it, "You will be scrambling over rocks, swimming in the sea, spinning in whirlpools, exploring caves, climbing cliffs and then jumping off them!". Coasteering is simply the most exhilarating way to see the coastline. Fitness

Jackie, the owner of Smarties Surf Lodge is an experienced, fully qualified personal trainer. The sessions cater for any fitness level and involve outside training on the beaches, cliffs and beautiful coastline and give you an exciting, fun and different training experience. There is an option for evening classes as well. You will also be advised on food and nutrition with recommended healthy places to eat in Newquay and help you to lose a few pounds along the way!
